- President Trump accused California’s election system of being rigged and described Proposition 50 as unconstitutional redistricting.
- White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt alleged widespread mail-in ballot fraud without presenting concrete evidence.
- California Secretary of State Shirley Weber dismissed the fraud claims and affirmed the legal validation of state elections.
- Proposition 50, backed by Governor Newsom, proposes redrawing congressional districts favoring Democrats for the 2026 midterms and two subsequent elections.
The bottom line is California elections have been validated by the courts.— Shirley Weber, California's elections chief, referred to Trump's claims as another baseless claim.
