- Emmanuel Macron appeared at the World Economic Forum wearing reflective blue aviator sunglasses despite being indoors.
- The eyewear was used to cover a harmless sub-conjunctival hemorrhage, a broken blood vessel in his eye.
- Macron humorously called the eye issue the 'eye of the tiger,' stressing it caused no pain or vision problems.
- During his speech, he condemned Trump’s tariff threats aimed at European nations and stressed the importance of international law.
We must stand against a world without rules, where international law is trampled underfoot.— Emmanuel Macron warned during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos against autocratic tendencies.
