- On Saturday morning, the six-year-old boy fell from a pedal boat into the water, and his 33-year-old father jumped in to save him; both remain missing.
- The 34-year-old mother and four-year-old daughter were also aboard the boat and received care, while police said the family came from Haßberge district.
- Helicopters, water-rescue divers and firefighters searched in, around and on the water throughout the afternoon, but the operation was called off unsuccessfully in the early evening.
- Police said there were no indications of third-party involvement and that an accident was presumed; the BRK plans to continue the search Sunday as a recovery operation, with apparently little hope of finding the father and son alive.
The search will then be classified as 'recovery'.— The BRK announced that the search will continue on Sunday.
