Jonathan Owens, a 30-year-old safety with NFL experience, was signed by the Colts for the 2026 season.

He previously contributed as both a starter and special teamer with the Texans, Packers, and Bears.

Following the loss of two safeties in free agency, the Colts sought to bolster defensive depth with Owens and Juanyeh Thomas.

Owens offers valuable experience and ball-hawking skills that the Colts expect to enhance their defense next year.

So proud of you baby. Indy, here we come.
— Simone Biles posted the message on her Instagram Stories to celebrate her husband's signing with the Colts.
