- The 'Digger' trailer showcases Tom Cruise heavily transformed into Mr. Rockwell, a wealthy oil baron with prosthetics and a Southern accent.
- The plot centers on an ecological disaster triggered by Cruise’s character, who is both the cause and the potential savior.
- John Goodman portrays the U.S. president leading a crisis meeting that frames the conflict as a war against nature itself.
- Unsettling imagery, including a cat with a fake eye, and multiple intense scenes hint at strong Oscar potential for the cast.
Is that all the bad fucking news,— John Goodman’s portrayal of the President in the Digger trailer (quoted in the article).
