Ronda Rousey defeated Gina Carano with a swift armbar in her first mixed martial arts match in almost ten years.

The bout took place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles as part of Jake Paul’s inaugural MMA event.

Despite anticipating Rousey’s signature move, Carano, returning after 17 years away, was unable to counter it.

Francis Ngannou and Mike Perry also claimed knockout victories in the event’s co-main fights.

Gina is the person who brought me into MMA, she's the only person who could have brought me back into MMA. You brought me back home ... you changed my world, and we changed the world. And I will never ever forget, and I will never be able to pay you back enough. I'm so glad we finally got to share this moment.
— Ronda Rousey, in her post-fight interview after defeating Gina Carano at Intuit Dome
