Trial Begins for Fake Pedophile Hunters in StuttgartFour men aged 19-20 face charges for at least 15 violent attacks from Jan 2024 to June 2025 in Stuttgart area.
- Four young men allegedly pretended to be underage girls online to lure men into violent and armed robberies during fake dates.
- The crimes, occurring between January 2024 and June 2025, involved coordinated use of weapons and resulted in serious injuries.
- The suspects organized their roles carefully, including contacts, assaults, getaway vehicles, and dividing stolen goods based on effort.
- Authorities emphasize the actions are not genuine pedo-hunting but rather planned group violence aimed at profit and exerting power.
This has nothing to do with the classic phenomenon of the so-called pedo-hunting.— Mario Teufel, head of the investigative group, at the opening of the trial.

- Authorities apprehended a 19-year-old suspect in Stuttgart and are investigating 22 young adults linked to severe violent offenses.
- The group impersonated young women online to lure men into meetings where they committed attempted murder, robbery, and assaults armed with weapons.
- Since June, the special task force Teddy has conducted extensive investigations resulting in multiple arrests and searches.
- Due to victims’ reluctance to report, police urge witnesses and additional victims to come forward to aid ongoing investigations.
The fact that the victims often do not come forward and report the incidents complicates our investigations. It is important to emphasize that the attacked men, in most cases, have done nothing wrong, which is why the term Pedo-Hunter does not fit. The suspects have simply used this tactic to attack and rob the men.— Mario Teufel, Head of the investigation group 'Teddy'
