- In Stuttgart, the partial phase is scheduled to begin at 7:22 p.m., peak at 8:15 p.m., and end at 9:06 p.m., while sunset is at 8:43 p.m.
- According to observatory representative Thomas Schulz, nearly 90 percent of the Sun will be covered in Stuttgart, making it noticeably darker but not night.
- The observatory expects about 600 people and plans to add mobile viewing stations alongside its fixed telescopes because queues may be long.
- Certified eclipse glasses are required for viewing, and the Perseids may be visible there as shooting stars after the event.
