- Greggs has raised prices on some products, including a 5p increase on sausage rolls and their vegan counterparts, despite stating earlier in the year that they had no plans to raise prices.
- While cost inflation remains at 4% to 5%, Greggs has refrained from increasing prices on other items such as breakfast and lunch deals.
- The price adjustments at Greggs are a response to the persistent inflation levels in the UK food market, driven by certain commodities becoming pricier and rising wages impacting costs.
- Despite facing cost challenges, Greggs experienced sales growth attributed to new stores, new products, and the expansion of their delivery service.
