Dessau Court Sentences Man to Nine YearsThe ruling is not final; his former partner was awarded €40,000 in pain-and-suffering damages, and the court says he was arrested in March 2026.
- The Dessau-Roßlau Regional Court sentenced the 38-year-old to nine years in prison for aggravated rape and dangerous bodily harm in three cases.
- The court also cited a sexual assault that it attributed to the defendant.
- The court found that he drugged his then-partner before three offenses and exploited her sleep in other cases.
- He posted recordings of the abuse without her knowledge; North Rhine-Westphalia State Criminal Police investigators found them and traced them to him.
