Peter Higgs, father of the ‘God particle,’ dies age 94
Quick Glance: Physicist Peter Higgs Passes Away at 94
  • Physicist Peter Higgs, whose theory of an undetected particle in the universe changed science, has died at 94, according to the University of Edinburgh.

  • The discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012 at the CERN research center was a significant advancement in understanding the cosmos, steering physics towards once-fantastical ideas.

  • Higgs, initially 'incompetent' in the physics lab, later specialized in theoretical physics, inspired by quantum physicist Paul Dirac from his school.

  • The Higgs boson's completion of the Standard Model opened doors to explore unexplained aspects of the universe and abstract concepts like parallel universes, despite Higgs disliking the 'God particle' nickname.

Every single guy on the planet can wear Jeremy Allen White's latest fit
Quick Glance: Every Guy Can Rock Jeremy Allen White's Latest Outfit
  • Jeremy Allen White is still sporting his all-time favorite sneakers, the Nike Cortez in all white.

  • White should be at the center of your menswear moodboard right now. Not just because he's a hot chef in the hottest show of last year (The Bear, if you've been living under a rock), and not just because he was a frontman in the hottest Calvin Klein campaign of last year. But also because every guy can pull off his latest outfit and rock it.

  • Spotted on the streets of Los Angeles (not at a farmer's market this time), White had mastered this whole baggy fit look. Up top, he wore a white cotton shirt with the top two buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up, leaving everything untucked for a super casual vibe. The same story goes down south too, with a slightly loose-fitting light wash denim jeans that are just right in length to showcase his favorite trainers of all time: the Nike Cortez.

  • It's a far cry from the tight T-shirts the Brooklyn-born actor wears on The Bear. Despite being much baggier, White is not drowning in his clothes. The cut of his shirt still maintains some structure, and while his jeans are on the larger side, they are the perfect length to highlight his beloved Nike Cortez sneakers.
