- VfB Stuttgart opened their post-summer test matches with a 7-1 victory over SV Fellbach.
- Goal scorers included Justin Diehl, Lazar Jovanovich, and Lauri Penna, who expanded the lead significantly.
- Three players—Justin Diehl, Salvatore Mule, and Finn Jeltsch—were substituted early due to injuries.
- Coach Sebastian Hoeneß highlighted the team's strong performance but expressed concern about the uncertain injury statuses.
I saw many good things, but also a goal against, which is something you don’t want to concede in such games. The three injuries are bitter. We don’t know anything more precise yet, we have to wait for the examinations. But nobody needs that in such a game.— Sebastian Hoeneß, coach of VfB Stuttgart, after the test match against SV Fellbach.
