- The Packers squandered a 21-3 halftime lead, allowing Chicago to score 25 points in the fourth quarter for a 31-27 win.

- Green Bay finished 2025 with a 9–7 record and lost its wild-card game to Chicago, 27–31.
- Teams including the Miami Dolphins, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals and Las Vegas Raiders are interested in Hafley.
- Under Hafley, Green Bay ranked 12th in total defense and 11th in fewest points allowed during 2025.
- LaFleur expects Hafley to secure an NFL head-coaching vacancy and plans for a possible departure.
I would be so happy for him because he deserves it and he’s a great friend, he’s a great man, he’s a great coach. I’d hate to see him leave for us, but at the same time, that’s what this business is all about and he’s earned those opps.— LaFleur told reporters on Monday, discussing Jeff Hafley’s potential head-coaching openings.
