- ‘Prey’ received six Emmy nominations, including television movie, writing, and directing nominations for Dan Trachtenberg.
- Set in 1719, the film follows Naru, a Comanche girl, in a coming-of-age story involving an alien.
- The film streamed on Hulu and later internationally on Disney+, with a Comanche-language version also available.
- Filming took place around Calgary, Alberta, including extensively on Stoney Nakoda Reserve land.

Native Americans are the most underrepresented group. This was one way to re-educate the world and show them who Native people really are.— Jhane Myers, enrolled Comanche member, on representation of Native Americans in Prey; Los Angeles Times interview
