- The transaction announced by both teams on Friday sends Brown and the Sparks’ 2025 third-round pick to Seattle for the Storm’s 2025 and 2027 second-round picks.
- Last season, Brown averaged 8.1 points and 3.3 assists in 23.7 minutes but appeared in only 16 games because of Crohn’s disease.
- In 2023, Brown made 41.5 percent of her three-point attempts on 5.4 attempts per game, a career high.
- Seattle also signed Erica Wheeler and Alysha Clark, added Li Yueru and received the No. 2 pick in the Jewell Loyd trade, but lost Jordan Horston and Nika Muhl to ACL tears.
Lexie is a prolific shooter and an all-around great player that bolsters our backcourt. Her tenacity to make plays on both sides of the ball and ability to stretch the defense with tremendous range are great additions to our roster and we are thrilled to welcome her to Seattle.— Talisa Rhea, Storm general manager, in an official press release
