- The release date for Avengers: Doomsday shifted from May 1, 2026, to December 18, 2026.
- Avengers: Secret Wars was postponed from May 7, 2027, to December 17, 2027.
- These delays provide extended production time for complex visual effects and securing key actors like Tom Holland and Hugh Jackman.
- Marvel is adjusting its schedule to address challenges in the Multiverse Saga and to reduce the annual volume of new projects.
I'm mixed on the delays. On the one hand, I'm disappointed because we haven't had an Avengers movie since 2019's Endgame, and we will now have to wait even longer for Avengers: Doomsday. On the other hand, I feel like this is for the best.— The author reflects on the delays of the Avengers films and their impact on fan expectations.
