- From October 4 to 19, 16 Lancashire libraries and three other venues are planned to become Fun Palaces.
- All events are free and require no booking, with the programme aimed at people of all ages.
- Planned activities include robot races, sword fighting and knitting a giant scarf for Preston North End.
- More than 8,500 people attended the events across the county last year.
There is a huge variety of events planned across Lancashire and I would encourage people to join in the fun for free. I would also like to thank the staff and volunteers who have made these events possible as we celebrate another year of Fun Palaces popping up across the county.— County Councillor Peter Buckley, cabinet member for Community and Cultural Services, commenting on the variety of free public events across Lancashire as Fun Palaces expand in the county.
