- Iran is considering a new U.S. proposal transmitted via Pakistan involving a one-page memorandum to end the Gulf war.
- The memorandum would be followed by discussions on reopening the Strait of Hormuz and limiting Iran’s nuclear activities.
- News of the proposal caused oil prices to drop about 11% and global stock markets to rise on hopes for peace.
- Key U.S. demands, including restrictions on Iran’s missile program and militia support, remain unaddressed in the talks.
"If they don’t agree, the bombing starts, and it will be, sadly, at a much higher level and intensity than it was before," Trump added.— Trump, in a Truth Social post about the potential Iran deal
