- Waze uses real-time community reports on traffic, speed cameras and potholes, adjusting route suggestions within minutes.
- In the test, TomTom GO provided more accurate live traffic data than HERE WeGo and rerouted around roadworks, closures and hazards.
- More than 250,000 Google Play Store reviews gave OSMAnd an average of 4.5 stars; it lacks live traffic data and dynamic rerouting.
- Waze works with cached maps, but the author says these do not replace full offline map support.
