- Eligible costs for heat pumps will be lowered from €30,000 to €28,000 starting July 21 and will decrease further every six months.
- The climate speed bonus is planned to be phased out by reducing it by four percentage points biannually until 2029.
- Income bonuses are revamped so that households earning under €30,000 receive 40%, while those earning between €30,000 and €40,000 keep 30%.
- Applications approved before the changes remain valid, but new subsidy requests must follow the updated rules effective from July 21.
The funding remains in place, is used more targeted, and at the same time contributes to sound budgetary management.— as stated by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Katherina Reiche (CDU) in the context of BEG reform.
