The non-profit association is presenting itself at the Ludwigsburg District Office to mark the tenth anniversary of its office.

The display covers the protection of species-rich orchards, the restoration of historic dry-stone walls on steep slopes and the conservation of endangered open-land species such as the grey partridge.

The association was established in 2015, began its office operations in 2016 and has a board with equal representation from agriculture, conservation and municipalities.

Alongside advising farmers, municipalities, associations and authorities, LEV contributes to nationwide concepts including biodiversity-friendly mowing technology.

Conservation succeeds only when the people on the ground work together. The presentation shows how farmers, municipalities and conservation associations in the district are collectively making an important contribution to preserving our cultural landscape and its biodiversity.
— Andreas Fallert, Managing Director of LEV, during the presentation at the Landratsamt Ludwigsburg
