Summary created with AI assistance · Source: winfuture.de

The July Windows 11 update was suspended for Dell computers with versions 24H2 and 25H2 due to critical system errors.

A conflict between the new USB-C interface and an Intel driver results in lost control over cooling and power management.

Affected machines experience sudden crashes, significant performance drops, excessive heat, and rapid battery drain.

Dell identified the issue early, enabling a fix expected within days, although security patches are temporarily delayed.
