Alba Berlin dominated the decisive fifth semifinal game with a 97-66 victory over the Bamberg Baskets to reach the finals.

Holding a 52-26 lead at halftime, Alba controlled the match in front of 8,861 fans at the Max-Schmeling-Halle.

Despite two prior away losses, Alba secured the final berth and will face Bayern Munich for the seventh time in the finals.

The Best-of-Five final series begins Friday at 8:30 pm in Munich, with Alba aiming to maintain their strong momentum.

First of all, congratulations to Pedro (Alba's coach Calles) and his team on reaching the final. I think we already lost the game in the second quarter today. It could have had a different ending for us, but with the performance we put on today, that wasn't possible. Everything was missing.
— Anton Gavel, Bamberg coach, after the semifinal against Alba Berlin
