Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have reunited for the upcoming NCIS spinoff, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, currently filming in Budapest. The series follows the couple and their daughter as they are on the run across Europe. NCIS: Tony & Ziva will stream on Paramount+, with rumors suggesting that NCIS season 22 may feature a backdoor pilot for the new series.

A recent set photo shows Weatherly and de Pablo as Tony DiNozzo, Jr. and Ziva David. Although the actors are in character attire, the cameras were not rolling at the time, indicating they were on a break. Other cast members have been sharing content from the set, but it remains unclear what specific scenes were being filmed that day.

In the show, Tali, the daughter of Tony and Ziva, will struggle with the revelation that her mother was believed dead while Ziva went underground to protect her family. Few details have emerged about the family's challenges, but the relationship will be strained, as Tali likely learns of Ziva's survival only later in the series.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva will not air on CBS but will be available on Paramount+, consisting of ten episodes, which is fewer than other franchise shows that typically offer over 20 episodes per year. While rumors about a backdoor pilot in the current NCIS season exist, this has not been confirmed.
