- The SV Fellbach Kiss children's sports school has been led by Wolfgang Liedtke for 25 years and currently serves about 700 children aged one to ten.
- Its programs benefit voluntary participants and schools, though partnerships with kindergartens have yet to be established effectively.
- Kiss provides a broad, multi-sport foundational training guided by qualified professionals to nurture children's natural urge to move.
- Full-day schools incorporate Kiss activities into after-school care, but limited funding for collaborations with kindergartens restricts their involvement.
In Fellbach, there is only a subsidy of 30 euros for cooperation with kindergartens and schools for one hour. That doesn’t even cover maintenance. So the cooperation partners have to contribute from their own pockets to use our offerings. The result is that we are not able to supervise a single kindergarten group, which is really a shame.— Wolfgang Liedtke on the financial challenges of cooperating with kindergartens and schools.
