The rainbow bench at Nadlerstraße and Hirschstraße was finally installed on November 27 following a brief removal due to a mounting error.

This city initiative addresses increasing queerphobic crimes across Germany by establishing a prominent anti-discrimination symbol.

Featuring the Progress Pride colors, the bench includes information panels with contact details for queer support services in Stuttgart.

Social Mayor Dr. Alexandra Sußmann inaugurated the bench during the annual '21 Days Against Violence' campaign.

The city wants to protect the freedom and safety of all people and shows this not in a hall or at a podium discussion, but directly on the pavement of the city center.
