- Only the first and second seeds are fixed at opposite ends of the draw, while all other seed positions are determined by a random draw.
- Seed three does not automatically face seed two in the semifinals; the draw creates variable matchups beyond the top two seeds.
- Past tournaments such as the 2026 Australian Open and 2025 Toronto Masters illustrate the flexible nature of draw placements and semi-final pairings.
- Seeds five through eight are also drawn randomly, leading to diverse quarterfinal and semifinal match combinations.
