- Giuseppe Reina, ex-player of BVB and Hertha BSC, is set to open Bistro SiSi in his hometown Unna this December.
- The new eatery at Massener Straße will serve a broad breakfast menu alongside Tyrolean specialties and Italian cuisine.
- Funding from the state of NRW supports the project by helping lease and sublet vacant retail spaces in city centers.
- Reina, who won the German championship with BVB in 2002, returns to his roots after ending his professional football career.
Since the beginning of this year, the City of Unna has received financial resources to address the challenges in its town centers that were further intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. This enables municipalities to rent vacant storefronts and sublease them at discounted rates.— Stadtmarketing Unna, via a press release
