- Quantum Frontline Industries, a German-Ukrainian joint venture, delivered its first drones to Ukrainian forces less than four months after founding.
- Current production in southern Germany reaches about 20 drones per day with plans to manufacture up to 10,000 annually.
- Manufacturing is increasingly automated and aims to shift from monthly to biweekly deliveries to meet high demand.
- The partnership benefits both Ukraine’s drone sector and Germany’s supplier industry while reducing reliance on Chinese parts.
Ukraine has built a very strong drone industry, especially in the drone sector. However, they know that to push further integration into Europe, they must also rely on joint ventures. We bring effects that naturally also help Ukraine militarily, and in masses rather than in homeopathic doses.— Matthias Lehna, Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), in an interview with Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND); cited by ntv.de
