Paul Berger, the aptly named owner, closed the last Burger Pit location in San Jose after a surge of customers present until the closure on April 23, 2024.

Despite the nostalgic feel and popular dishes of Burger Pit, customers will primarily miss the conviviality as they bid farewell to long-time staff and the historic location.
