Armstrong confirmed his return on SportsCentre, ending speculation about whether he would continue with the network.

He will call TSN’s games alongside longtime partner Matt Devlin, with TSN and Sportsnet each carrying 41 contests.

Raegan Subban becomes the courtside reporter, replacing Kayla Grey, who announced her departure after 10 years.

The schedule starts Saturday in Quebec City with the Raptors’ preseason game against the Miami Heat.

I’m back, I’m excited. Looking forward to the years to come talking hoops. I’m fired up. I’ve worked here for 28 years and I’m excited for the years to come.
— Armstrong said on SportsCentre about his return to TSN's Raptors broadcast team and his excitement for the upcoming seasons.
