- A former marine was sentenced to nine years in prison by the Justice Department on Monday after using a Molotov cocktail to attack a Planned Parenthood clinic in Costa Mesa, California. - Planned Parenthood clinic attacks were abandoned due to law enforcement actions. Brannon was motivated by neo-Nazi ideology and planned further violent attacks. The National Abortion Federation reported a sharp increase in violence at abortion clinics in 2022.
- Brannon and Ergul also had plans to conduct an attack using a remote-detonated device during an LGBTQ+ pride event at Dodger Stadium, but were arrested two days prior. Before the arrest, Brannon even planned to rob Jewish individuals living in the Hollywood Hills.
