A young driver from Derbyshire has been banned from driving after an astonishing 12 instances of speeding in just over three months.

In nine of these twelve cases, Danut-Florin Ciupitu was caught on the same stretch of road in the county.

During these nine instances, the 22-year-old from South Normanton was recorded driving at speeds ranging from 38mph to 51mph on the A61 Derby Road in CHESTERFIELD, where the speed limit is 30mph.

Previously, on November 19, he was clocked at 37mph on Chesterfield Road in Hollingwood, and was caught again on that road driving at 40mph on February 16.
