Quick Glance: Oxford will be rocked by train strikes once more.
- Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) members at railway companies and Network Rail will strike for 24 hours on July 27. Members of the Union went on strike for three days last month, disrupting services throughout the county.
- Union leaders made the announcement after rejecting Network Rail's new "paltry" offer.
- "We"ve made progress on mandatory redundancies, but Network Rail is still trying to make our members poorer when we"ve won double what they're offering with other rail operators."
