Quick Glance: Farewell to Makoto Hasebe
- At the age of 40, Makoto Hasebe is concluding his over 20-year career in professional football. He made the move from Japan to VfL Wolfsburg in 2008, also playing for 1. FC Nürnberg before joining Eintracht Frankfurt in 2014. Achievements include winning the German Championship with Wolfsburg (2009) and the DFB-Pokal (2018) and Europa League (2022) with SGE. Additionally, he triumphed in the 2011 Asian Cup with Japan.

- The Emperor and Empress visit the stables to greet a sacred horse dedicated to the Ise Grand Shrines.
- "Moto-Isamu", an 8-year-old chestnut horse, is sent from the Imperial Stock Farm to the city of Ise.
- Following the death of another horse, it was decided to send the gelding to the shrine.
- The Imperial couple and the princess feed and cheer on the horse.
