- WASHINGTON, June 10 (Reuters) - The U.S. Late Friday, the United States repealed a 17-month-old rule that persons entering in the nation by air test negative for COVID-19, following intensive lobbying by airlines and the travel sector.
- Since January 2021, incoming international air travelers have been required to provide pre-departure negative tests.
- To travel to the United States, U.S. citizens must be immunized against COVID.
- O) On Friday, CEO Robin Hayes told Reuters that the testing requirement was "the last obstacle to a really full international travel recovery," adding that it "served no purpose anymore."
